\nWe meet at Resort, an iconic Warsaw caf\u00e9 located by Teatralny Square. Sandra, What\u2019s your favorite view in Warsaw?<\/p>\n

My favorite view in Warsaw is from the new pedestrian and bicycle bridge between Powi\u015ble and Praga \u2014 the Praga footbridge. I especially love looking from there toward the city skyline, but also in the direction of the Vistula River and the Gda\u0144ski Bridge. It\u2019s most beautiful there in the evening, at sunset.<\/p>\n

\nWhich Warsaw park do you like the most?<\/p>\n

I really like Krasi\u0144ski Park and Kr\u00f3likarnia \u2014 if that counts as a park \u2014 but I especially love the sculptures that are there. So those are my two favorites.<\/p>\n

And if you go for a walk with your dog, where do you go?<\/p>\n

\nWhat\u2019s something sentimental that has disappeared from Warsaw, but used to be something you strongly associated with the city?<\/p>\n

The rainbow installation by Julita W\u00f3jcik that used to stand on Plac Zbawiciela. It was there during my first 2\u20133 years living in Warsaw \u2014 and I\u2019ve been here for 10 years now. We studied that artist in theater school during performance art classes, so it took on an additional layer of meaning for me.<\/p>\n

\nIf you had to describe Warsaw to someone during a conversation abroad, what would you say?<\/p>\n

I\u2019d say that Warsaw has an amazing culinary scene, especially when it comes to plant-based food. Not many people know this, but Warsaw is in the top five cities in the world in terms of the number of vegan and vegetarian spots.<\/p>\n

Which vegan or vegetarian places in Warsaw do you recommend most?<\/p>\n

Definitely Peaches, Veganda, Lokal Vegan Bistro, Green Bar on Z\u0142ota Street, and Baja \u2014 a vegan patisserie in Powi\u015ble.<\/p>\n
